ABOUT ME!
My name is Matthew Neal. I am an actor, singer, and dancer based out of Boston and New York City! I am currently studying at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, to receive my BFA in Musical Theater, where I will graduate in 2026.
The arts have always been a foundational part of my life. Ever since I can remember, I have always loved to perform; whether that was in choir, pageants, or one-man productions of "So Long, Farewell" from The Sound of Music for my family during Thanksgiving. Since then, I have been blessed with a multitude of opportunities that have helped me build upon my love for theater.
As an artist, I strive to learn as much as I can about the creation of theater in order to portray resonant stories. And while theater is an elusive art form for anyone to understand, the act of collaborating with others makes it all the more rewarding for me. I will continue to uplift fellow theater-makers both onstage and off. When I'm not creating art, I enjoy reading, biking, thrifting clothes, and spending time with friends and family.
